CONSTRUCTION OF NEW EXTENTION 2010/1011 (Photos)

The Group continues to extend its activities with the completion of our New Building.  Considerable use has already been made of the Sound Studio thanks to Simon Fletcher’s hard work in establishing this facility.  It has already proved its worth to the Group and we have also had outside organsations making use of this facility.

Heating has now been installed in the first and second floor rooms and its efficiency is being monitored.  Increasing use is now being make of these two rooms which allows overlap of rehearsals and other activities.  If you have occasion to use these rooms please let us know how ‘user friendly’ they are and any suggestions for improvements are always welcome.

Improving the facilities on the whole site is an ongoing challenge and we are grateful for all the input from our Members and Patrons in ensuring we have the funds to do it and the manpower to keep up with all the necessary practical and administrative work.
